About the Conference
After ten years, the congress makes its historic return to South America, a region at the forefront of the global fight against Plasmodium vivax malaria due to its high endemicity and unique epidemiological profile.
The 10th International Conference on Plasmodium vivax Research (ICPvR 2027) will convene leading scientists, clinicians, and public health professionals to exchange recent discoveries and innovations in Plasmodium vivax research.
Hosted by the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH), a global leader in biomedical science and tropical medicine, the conference will highlight advances in molecular epidemiology, vector biology, clinical management, and elimination strategies for vivax malaria.
This edition marks a milestone in strengthening regional and global partnerships to accelerate progress toward malaria elimination.
